Job Description

A Jewellery Manual Designer is responsible for creating hand-drawn jewellery sketches that bring design concepts to life. The role involves designing unique diamond, gold, and platinum jewellery while balancing creativity, market trends, and manufacturing feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create hand sketches of diamond, gold, and platinum jewellery designs.

  • Develop innovative and trendy concepts based on client or company requirements.

  • Work closely with CAD designers and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.

  • Understand diamond sizes, shapes, and jewellery setting techniques for accurate sketching.

  • Prepare design sheets with proportions, detailing, and stone placements.

  • Stay updated with latest market trends, fashion, and competitor designs.

  • Revise and modify designs as per feedback.

  • Maintain a portfolio/design library for future references.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong artistic and sketching ability (manual drawing).

  • Good knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery manufacturing.

  • Creativity with an eye for detail and market demands.

  • Understanding of proportions, symmetry, and jewellery aesthetics.

  • Ability to translate abstract ideas into practical, attractive designs.

  • Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with CAD & production departments.

Experience

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Jewellery Manual Designer.

  • Salary – As per Experience.
