Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Diamond Assorter for examining, grading, and categorizing diamonds based on the 4Cs—cut, color, clarity, and carat—and other criteria such as shape, size, and luster. The role ensures that diamonds are accurately sorted for specific jewellery designs, cost estimates, and production planning. Precision, gemological knowledge, and attention to detail are essential.

Required skills

Attention to detail and accuracy Diamond grading and assorting Documentation and record-keeping Knowledge of 4Cs (cut and color and clarity and carat) Knowledge of synthetic vs. natural diamonds Stone matching (size and shade and quality) Teamwork and communication Understanding of jewellery design needs Use of gemological tools (loupe and gauge and sieve)
