Job Description

The Jewellery Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accurate accounting of transactions, and supporting management in financial planning and reporting. This role covers bookkeeping, reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards specific to the jewellery industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update all financial records including purchases, sales, expenses, and payments.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements and reports.

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

  • Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and manage petty cash.

  • Coordinate with inventory and production departments for accurate cost accounting.

  • Assist in audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.

  • Ensure accuracy in accounting records and adherence to company policies.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in Tally, ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.

  • Good coordination and communication skills.

  • Integrity, reliability, and confidentiality in handling financial information.


Experience & Qualification:

  • Minimum 2–5 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in jewellery or manufacturing industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.

  • Familiarity with GST, tax regulations, and audit processes is preferred.


Salary Range:

💰 ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month (depending on skills and 2–5 years of experience).
