ZewelStaff – Terms & Conditions for Employers
For Employers (Hiring Services)

Applicable To: All Clients availing recruitment services from ZewelStaff.com
1. 📌 Service Scope
ZewelStaff.com provides non-worker staff recruitment services (e.g., CAD Designers, Merchandisers, Sales Executives, Accountants, Back Office, Data Entry Operators, etc.) to companies in the diamond and jewellery manufacturing industry.
2. 💰 Placement Charges
- A placement fee equivalent to 60% of the candidate’s gross monthly salary is charged.
- This fee is applicable per selected and joined candidate.
- The fee is exclusive of applicable GST (currently 18%).
3. 📆 Payment Terms
- Full payment is to be made within 30 days from the candidate’s joining date.
- Delay beyond 30 days may attract a late fee of ₹500/week.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer or UPI (details will be mentioned on the invoice).
4. 🔁 Replacement Policy
- If the candidate leaves or is terminated within 90 days of joining, a one-time free replacement will be provided.
- No cash refunds will be given.
- The replacement policy is not applicable in cases of:
- Company misconduct or a toxic work environment.
- Salary or payment delay from the employer’s side.
5. 🧾 Candidate Authenticity
- ZewelStaff verifies the candidate’s background to the best of its capacity (CV, experience, intent).
- However, the final verification (background checks, document validation, reference checks) is the responsibility of the employer before hiring.
6. ❌ No Poaching Clause
- The employer agrees not to directly approach or hire candidates sourced by ZewelStaff outside the platform within 90 days of the first introduction.
- If this clause is violated, the full placement fee will be chargeable.
7. 🔒 Data Confidentiality
All candidate and company data shared via ZewelStaff will be treated as confidential and used only for recruitment purposes. Employers must not use candidate data for marketing or any other third-party use.
8. ⚖️ Legal Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising will be under the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts only.
9. 🛡️ Employer Responsibility & Liability
ZewelStaff.com shall not be held liable for any instances of:
- Employee theft of materials, designs, or intellectual property.
- Financial fraud or misconduct by placed candidates.
- Data breaches or confidentiality violations by hired staff.
- Any criminal activities conducted by candidates post-placement.
The Client agrees that it is solely the Employer’s responsibility to:
- Implement adequate security measures (CCTV, access controls, etc.).
- Conduct proper supervision of all staff members.
- Secure sensitive materials and digital assets.
- Execute legally binding confidentiality and employment agreements with employees.
- Conduct final vetting, including background checks (police verification if required), reference validation, and skill authentication.
No claims for compensation or damages related to employee misconduct will be entertained against ZewelStaff.com.
