Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manual Designer to create clear, user-friendly, and visually engaging manuals for our products/services. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user manuals, instruction guides, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams to gather information
  • Create layouts, illustrations, and visual elements to enhance usability
  • Ensure consistency in design, branding, and formatting across all manuals
  • Review and update existing manuals based on product changes
  • Manage multiple documentation projects and meet deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in manual design, documentation, or a similar role
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or similar software
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical writing or UX writing
  • Familiarity with documentation standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of digital publishing formats (PDF, web-based manuals, etc.)

Salary
