Job Description
HR & Admin Manager
Experience: 5+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates; managing
the full hiring cycle and conducting new-hire orientations.
• Employee Relations: Addressing grievances, resolving conflicts, and nurturing a productive,
positive work environment.
• Performance Management: Implementing performance review system, appraisal systems,
conducting reviews, and identifying training needs for professional growth.
• Compensation & Benefits: Managing payroll, administering health insurance and other
benefits, and ensuring competitive pay scales.
• Compliance & Policy: Ensuring adherence to local and national labour laws and
developing fair internal HR policies, Ensuring 100% adherence to the Factories Act,
PF, ESIC, and Minimum Wages Act.
Leading international social audits such as RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council), SMETA,
and customer-specific codes of conduct.
• Training & Development: Planning and executing staff training programs
and coaching sessions.
• Industrial Relations (IR) & Grievances: Acting as a bridge between management and
the artisan workforce to resolve conflicts and maintain workplace harmony.
Implementing health and safety protocols specific to jewellery units (e.g., chemical handling
in plating, fire safety).
• Security & Integrity Compliance:
Overseeing background verification (KYC) and strict adherence to internal security SOPs
for staff handling precious metals/stones
• Compliance Tools: Proficiency in HRMS platforms (e.g., Keka, GreytHR) and
Excel for dashboard reporting.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and mediation skills for handling factory-level disputes.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the gems and jewellery supply chain and
artisan welfare standards
