Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Gold Central HOD to manage gold procurement, inventory, and pricing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of bullion markets, inventory control, and vendor management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the Gold Centre.
- Supervise and guide the production team to achieve daily targets.
- Monitor gold issuance, consumption, recovery, and wastage.
- Ensure product quality and adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, CAD, Merchandising, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
- Plan production schedules and ensure timely order completion.
- Maintain inventory records and prepare daily production reports.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company SOPs while handling precious metals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Gold Centre or gold jewellery manufacturing department.
- Strong knowledge of gold jewellery production processes.
- Good leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle production planning, inventory control, and quality management.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP software will be an added advantage.
Salary:
- Up to ₹50,000 per month (based on experience and interview performance)
