Job Description
The Jewellery Colour Stone Department Head will oversee the entire coloured stones division in a jewellery manufacturing setup. This role involves managing operations, supervising the team, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with design and production teams to maintain smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Colour Stone department, including graders, setters, and inventory staff.

Oversee procurement, grading, allocation, and quality control of coloured stones.

Ensure accurate matching of stones for designs and production requirements.

Maintain inventory records and departmental reports.

Coordinate with design, production, and sales teams for timely completion of orders.

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Train and mentor team members to maintain skill standards and productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in coloured stone handling and jewellery manufacturing (up to 5 years).

Strong knowledge of gemstones, grading techniques, and quality standards.

Leadership and team management skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month (for candidates with up to 5 years experience)
