Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Jewellery Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks related to our jewellery business. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with jewellery inventory handling.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily accounting entries (sales, purchase, receipts, payments)

  • Handle jewellery stock, weight-wise entries & inventory reconciliation

  • Prepare GST/Tax-related data

  • Manage cash book, bank statements, and vouchers

  • Coordinate with auditors and management

  • Maintain accurate records of gold, diamond, and other inventory

📌 Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of accounting experience (jewellery sector preferred)

  • Good knowledge of Tally/ERP

  • Strong understanding of inventory & billing

  • Basic knowledge of GST

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Required skills

Ability to handle weight-wise stock entries Ability to work with jewellery barcodes / tags (optional) Accuracy in maintaining daily accounting records Basic understanding of GST & tax calculations Billing and invoice preparation Cash handling and bank reconciliation Good communication skills Good understanding of purchase & sales accounting Knowledge of Tally / Tally ERP Proficiency in MS Excel Strong analytical and numerical skills Strong attention to detail Strong inventory management skills (gold/ silver/ diamonds)
