Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage and oversee the jewellery manufacturing process. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day production activities, coordinating with artisans (karigars), and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products while maintaining strict control over materials and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily production schedules based on order timelines
- Allocate work across departments such as casting, stone setting, and polishing
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and resolve production bottlenecks
- Maintain MIS reports, production records, and inventory tracking
- Supervise end-to-end production workflow from raw material to finished goods
Material & Gold Management
- Issue and track gold/silver usage accurately throughout the production cycle
- Minimize material loss by implementing recovery systems for scrap and dust
- Ensure correct gold purity (karat) in finished jewellery
Quality Control
- Conduct stage-wise quality checks during production
- Ensure all products meet BIS Hallmarking standards and client requirements
Team Management & Safety
- Lead and train artisans on production techniques and tools
- Maintain discipline and productivity on the shop floor
- Enforce safety protocols related to chemicals and metal handling
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in jewellery manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of gold casting, refining, and production processes
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and stone-setting techniques (e.g., micro-pavé, bezel)
- Experience with jewellery ERP systems like Gati or Synergies
- Proficiency in MS Excel

- ₹45,000 – ₹60,000 per month
