Key Responsibilities

1. High-Value Asset Protection

• Implement and monitor strict loss control processes to minimize gold and metal loss
• Supervise the movement of precious materials, ensuring proper documentation for all entries and exits
• Enforce mandatory frisking and metal detector checks for employees and visitors

2. Surveillance & Technical Oversight

• Monitor CCTV systems, motion sensors, and alarm systems on a real-time basis
• Control and manage access to restricted areas (vaults, strong rooms) using biometric or dual authentication systems
• Conduct regular checks to ensure all security equipment (alarms, fire extinguishers, panic buttons) is functional

3. Team Leadership & Compliance

• Supervise and train security guards, ensuring discipline and adherence to protocols
• Develop and implement SOPs for emergency situations such as fire, theft, or medical incidents
• Ensure readiness for audits such as RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) and SMETA compliance

4. Incident Management

• Conduct preliminary investigations into theft, discrepancies, or suspicious activities
• Coordinate with local authorities, fire departments, and insurance agencies when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years in industrial or high-value asset security (preferably jewellery/manufacturing sector)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in IP-based CCTV systems and Video Management Systems (VMS)
• Knowledge of access control systems and alarm monitoring

Other Requirements

• Physically fit and alert for regular patrol duties
• High integrity with a clean background record (mandatory verification)
• Strong observation and decision-making skills

Education

• Graduate in any discipline
• Certification in Industrial Security or Fire Safety preferred
