Job Summary

The Manual Jewellery Designer is responsible for creating hand-drawn jewellery concepts and detailed design sketches that serve as the foundation for production. This role involves transforming creative ideas into accurate, production-ready illustrations, coordinating with the CAD and production teams, and ensuring designs meet quality standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities

* Create hand-drawn jewellery sketches and detailed design illustrations.
* Develop creative design concepts based on client requirements and current market trends.
* Prepare detailed design drawings with accurate proportions, gemstone placement, and metal specifications.
* Collaborate with the CAD and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
* Revise and finalize designs based on feedback from clients, management, or production teams.
* Maintain an organized portfolio and library of design sketches and concepts.
* Stay updated with the latest jewellery design trends, craftsmanship techniques, and market preferences.

Requirements

* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
* **Minimum 5+ years of experience** in manual jewellery designing.
* Strong expertise in hand sketching, jewellery design principles, and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent creativity with exceptional attention to detail and aesthetics.
* Good knowledge of metals, gemstones, and jewellery construction.
* Ability to interpret client requirements and create production-ready design concepts.
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
